UK_Flag General Description of Ivy Cottage

Ivy Cottage and Saint Sennen Church

Ivy Cottage in Sennen Church town is over 200 years old.

It is only a short walk to Sennen Cove harbour and  beaches, a few paces from the famous 'First and Last' Inn and the renowned Land's End.

Built of local granite it has recently been renovated and fitted with a modern kitchen. Inside, you will enjoy the comfort and warmth provided by the modern electric radiators ,  the oil-fired Rayburn cooker , the cheerful fires you can  lit in the stove in the big fireplace
and, outside, the small flower garden and lawn with the view of passing ships.

The cottage comfortably sleeps four.

As you can see in the picture below, it is ideally positioned in the centre of this quiet village, close to the local shops, the Post Office, the First and Last Inn, Saint Sennen church, and close to Land's End.

Opposite the First and Last , there is the bus stop to Penzance or St Ives ( scenic bus in the summer )

Aerial view of Sennen village.

It's about a 15-minute walk down to the harbour and beaches.

The beaches of Sennen are clean and beautiful and lifeguards keep an eye on the swimmers, surfers and body-boarders at all times.

Lots to see: fishing boats, nets, lobster pots, maybe a catch being unloaded, the new lifeboat City of London III, the Round House gallery....
